Join Southern Alberta Solosport Club members in Calgary and the surrounding region at competitive driving days, instructional schools and more. The SASC provides enthusiastic drivers, a closed-course venue for exploring their racing passions, or developing safer on road habits.

The SASC has the goal of positively impacting the communities where it operates. Local partnerships, and strict safety and noise guidelines are critical factors in developing sustainable events

 

What Is Autocross?

The SASC specializes in events where drivers compete, one at a time, to set a fast time through a temporary slalom course, marked with pylons. With thousands of drivers competing in events throughout the continent every weekend, autocross is the most popular form of auto racing in the world.

 

Our Members

The Southern Alberta Solosport Club has cultivated a group of drivers recognized throughout the continent for their talents behind the wheel, and involvement in the motorsports community. 

3The Southern Alberta Solosport Club is a registered non-profit, organization committed to organizing sustainable motorsports and driver education events in Calgary and the surrounding area. More than 300 individual drivers attend SASC events annually, with volunteer participation and off-course involvement from a dedicated membership group being key to event success. 

Driving enthusiasts committed to participating in motorsports responsibly are welcome at all events, regardless of  background or experience. New participants are encouraged to join the discussion on our forumsFacebook group, or Instagram page.
